Handcrafted of beautiful cherrywood and finished with a red string for display or hanging, each piece is inspired by her life in Maine (and a lobster’s crusher claw*). Uncommon Knowledge: A lobster’s claws are asymmetrical—the larger one (crusher claw)—is used for breaking hard shells while the more slender one (pincer claw) is used for grabbing and tearing softer food.
